When Annie first learned of Finnick’s death, everyone was amazed at how well she held it together.  However, the second she was left alone in District 4, she headed out to the ocean, intending to drown herself. She figured she’d be more happy being dead with Finnick then living without him.  But, when she had only waded out knee deep, her baby kicked for the first time. And in that instant, she knew that she had something worth living for.
